ENERGY CARBON · PRODUCT GUIDE
SmartFlex suspended ceiling heating is Energy Carbon’s option for compatible 600 × 600 mm ceiling grids. It lets workplaces consider radiant heating around the areas people actually occupy.
Where this product fits
The existing Energy Carbon range identifies offices, schools and shops as potential applications. Desks, counters and reception areas need different layouts, so the ceiling grid alone is not enough to determine the number or position of heaters.

Information to include in your enquiry
- Floor plans, room dimensions and the property location.
- Construction details, insulation and the proposed surface finish.
- How the space is used and your intended project dates.
- Existing systems and the work already planned.
Use qualified installers and follow the instructions for the exact product supplied. Installation design and commissioning are part of achieving the intended performance.
Common questions
Can SmartFlex simply replace any ceiling tile?
Compatibility must be checked first. The designer should review grid support, ceiling construction, electrical requirements, fire performance and the layout of lighting and other services.
How do I compare proposals?
Compare the complete installed system, controls, access for maintenance and the assumptions behind performance estimates. Ask for the specification in writing so the options can be assessed on a consistent basis.
