The smart and effective way to eradicate condensation and mould
Our homes are designed to breath and, as we add more insulation in order to reduce energy costs, warm air becomes trapped and carries higher levels of moisture. When these air molecules touch a cold surface such as a window or exterior wall they shrink and ‘dump’ their moisture onto that surface – known as condensation.
The Energy Carbon heating system warms surfaces which then go on to warm the air meaning that surfaces rarely go below the dew point. However, cooking, washing, bathing and even breathing increase moisture levels so that more humidity is felt and the walls get damp again.
The Airunit system has internal sensors that automatically detect these higher levels of moisture and extract them accordingly. When used alongside our surface heating you have the perfect solution to manage damp and mould.
